They walked away with a 52-44 victory over Ezekiel Academy. That's two games straight that Oaks has won by exactly eight points.
Oaks' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Joey Allen, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Allen has scored at least 25% of Oaks' points. Another player making a difference was Ralph Paul, who scored 16 points.
When it comes to explaining why Ezekiel Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Kelson Free. Despite the final result, he scored 26 points. The match was Free's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Chastain, who scored 7 points.
