Preview: Kings Knights vs. Loveland Tigers
Kings is 1-9 against Loveland since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Kings Knights will head out on the road to face off against the Loveland Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Sunday, Kings was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 69-65 to DeSales. While losing is never fun, Kings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 307th in Ohio, while DeSales is ranked 18th in Kentucky).
Meanwhile, Loveland didn't have too much trouble with Anderson at home on Friday as they won 59-40. The win made it back-to-back wins for Loveland.
Kings' defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Loveland, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
Kings came up short against Loveland in their previous matchup back in January, falling 69-61. Can Kings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
