Volleyball Game Preview: Ashland Arrows vs. Lexington Minutemen

Ashland is 1-9 against Lexington since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Arrows will host the Minutemen at 7:15 p.m.

Ashland came up short against St. Paul on Saturday, falling 3-0.

While Ashland had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 25-20.

The losing side was boosted by Makenna Chandler, who had 11 digs and three assists. Rylan Mcfrederick also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Meanwhile, Lexington came tearing into Monday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Tornadoes.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-22, 25-23.

Ashland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.
