Basketball Recap: Ell-Saline Comes Up Short

Ell-Saline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 57-32 to the Remington Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Broncos are ranked 39th).

Ell-Saline's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Remington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ell-Saline has already played their next match (against Bennington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Remington will challenge Marion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Marion will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Remington surely won't give up without a fight.
