Volleyball Recap: Omro Comes Up Short

Omro lost against Amherst back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Foxes fell 2-0 to the Falcons.

Addison Larsen paced Omro's offense, picking up three kills. Larsen got some help from Reagan Reiter and her five assists. Reiter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Madeline Chase, each putting up two.

Omro has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Amherst, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

Omro didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Markesan on the 20th. As for Amherst, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Winneconne on the 20th.
