Fairview hit Chaparral with a nine-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolverines fell just short of the Knights by a score of 10-9. The Wolverines' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Chaparral got a good showing from Breck Johnson, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Josh McWilliams made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
