Friendship Christian came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Davidson Academy Bears. The Commanders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Friendship Christian's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Davidson Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Friendship Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Donelson Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Friendship Christian 2.3, Donelson Christian Academy 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Davidson Academy will face off against rival Nashville Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
