Softball Recap: Morristown-Hamblen West Comes Up Short

Morristown-Hamblen West was the 7-6 winner over David Crockett when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Haley Milton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

Morristown-Hamblen West has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season. As for David Crockett, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-8-1 record.

Looking ahead, Morristown-Hamblen West is taking a road trip to square off against Morristown-Hamblen East at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. David Crockett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
