Football Recap: E.E. Smith Drops Season-High Score on Pine Forest + How To Watch

E.E. Smith lost against Pine Forest back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Bulls took a 33-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. On the bright side, the 27- point effort marked the Golden Bulls' highest-scoring contest to date.

Pine Forest was led to victory by Perry Moore and David Awolumate. Moore gained 47 total yards and two touchdowns, while Awolumate rushed for 24 yards and one touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for E.E. Smith and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Pine Forest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. E.E. Smith will head out to take on Gray's Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pine Forest, they will venture away from home to square off against Cape Fear at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
