Columbus has gone 7-1 against South Panola recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Columbus Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the South Panola Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Columbus can't be too worried about heading out to take on South Panola: they just beat Neshoba Central at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Columbus pulled ahead with a 38-37 photo finish over Neshoba Central on Friday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Panola). They blew past Grenada, posting an 81-48 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers who have now won four contests in a row.

South Panola's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Columbus, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-15 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Columbus against South Panola when the teams last played back in January of 2019, as the squad secured a 65-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Columbus since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
