Volleyball Recap: Christian Takes a Loss

Christian lost against Cathedral Catholic back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots came up short against the Dons, falling 3-0. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-16.

Taya Vincent paced Christian's offense, picking up nine kills. Vincent got some help from Maxim? Pheasant and her 18 assists. Sophia Willett controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Cathedral Catholic, they pushed their record up to 16-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Christian will challenge Coronado at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cathedral Catholic, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against La Canada on the 10th.
