Baseball Recap: Vestal Golden Bears vs. Owego Free Academy River Hawks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Horseheads, Vestal was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Owego Free Academy River Hawks by a score of 7-4. The win continues a trend for the Golden Bears in their matchups with the River Hawks: they've now won four in a row.
Parker Terrell looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, JT Gannon was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Gavin Brady, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.
