Basketball Game Preview: Oklahoma City S Storm vs. Memorial Mavericks

The Oklahoma City S Storm are taking a road trip to challenge the Memorial Mavericks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oklahoma City S has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Oklahoma City S picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against El Paso by a score of 64-51. Given the Storm's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 161st in Oklahoma, while the Tigers are ranked 616th in Texas), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Isreal Fugett was a one-man wrecking crew for Oklahoma City S as he dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Fugett a new career-high in boards. Adam Leonard was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Memorial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 63-58 to Lake Dallas.

Memorial dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Oklahoma City S, their win bumped their record up to an identical 9-14.
