St. Mary entered their tilt with Whitney on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Shea Hardcaste paced St. Mary's offense, picking up five kills. Hardcaste got some help from Victoria Keller and her six assists. Genevieve Rishwain controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

St. Mary's record is now 9-6. As for Whitney, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-7.

St. Mary's didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Park on the 20th. As for Whitney, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Tracy on the 20th.
