Basketball Recap: Ruidoso Takes a Loss

Ruidoso came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Tularosa Wildcats, falling 41-21. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 45-35 defeat last Monday.

Despite the loss, Ruidoso still got an impressive performance from Aliyah Zamora, who posted seven points.

Ruidoso dropped their record down to 15-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Tularosa, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season.
