Recap: Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs vs. Loveland Classical Lions
After flying high against the KIPP Denver Collegiate White Tigers last Friday, the Addenbrooke Classical Academy Mustangs came back down to earth. Addenbrooke Classical Academy took a 41-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Loveland Classical. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Addenbrooke Classical Academy has scored all season.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Angela Morton, who scored six points along with five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Reena Lanzen, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Loveland Classical, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Addenbrooke Classical Academy will be playing at home against Belleview Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Loveland Classical will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rocky Mountain Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024.
