Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Firelands Falcons. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Falcons from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Edison's record now sits at 1-8. As for Firelands, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

When Edison and Firelands next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Edison will try to stop Margaretta's 13-game winning streak when the meet at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Firelands will take on Clearview and their five-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
