Volleyball Game Preview: McConnellsburg Spartans vs. Meyersdale Red Raiders + How To Watch

The McConnellsburg Spartans will challenge the Meyersdale Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

McConnellsburg is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest loss since August 28th on Tuesday. They came up short against Southern Huntingdon County, falling 3-0.

McConnellsburg was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Meyersdale had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Elks as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Meyersdale took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-7, 25-13.

Meyersdale's win bumped their record up to 11-3. As for McConnellsburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6-2 record this season.
