Notre Dame-Green Pond has gone 8-2 against Palmerton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Crusaders are taking a road trip to face off against the Blue Bombers at 4:00 p.m. Notre Dame-Green Pond is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Notre Dame-Green Pond didn't have quite enough to beat Northwestern Lehigh and fell 5-4. The Crusaders have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Clemente Cintron spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.

On the hitting side, Jason Frederick made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Palmerton came up short against Northwestern Lehigh on Friday, falling 13-4.

Notre Dame-Green Pond's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Palmerton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Notre Dame-Green Pond took their victory against Palmerton when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 14-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
