Softball Recap: Salem Comes Up Short

Salem fell victim to Northville and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Rocks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Salem has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-6-1 record this season. As for Northville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 24-4-3.

Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northville, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Canton on the 30th.
