Football Recap: West Wendover Takes a Loss

West Wendover managed to slip by Yerington the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolverines came up short against the Lions on Friday, falling 24-0. The loss leaves the Wolverines still looking for their first win of the season.

Branum Graham threw for 92 yards on seven of 15 attempts. Marques Chavez was his top target, picking up 52 receiving yards. On the ground, David Salas rushed for 61 yards.

West Wendover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Yerington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
