Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williamsport). They strolled past the Central Mountain Wildcats with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 76-62. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Millionaires also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Central Mountain lost, don't look at Hunter Hoy. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-18 en route to 25 points. The game was Hoy's fourth in a row with at least 23 points. Another player making a difference was Darius Shade, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points.

The victory was the third in a row for Williamsport, bringing their record for this year to 8-12. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.0 points over those games. As for Central Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.

Williamsport wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-60 win against Executive Education Academy Charter School on the 13th. As for Central Mountain, they will face off against Hollidaysburg at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th. Central Mountain is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60 points per game this season.
