Balmorhea is 10-0 against Marfa since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Balmorhea Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Marfa Shorthorns at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Balmorhea was fully in charge, breezing past Big Bend 63-26.

Meanwhile, Marfa beat Fort Davis 48-40 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Shorthorns.

Balmorhea's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-10. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Marfa, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Balmorhea didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Marfa when the teams last played back in January, but they still walked away with a 32-27 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Balmorhea since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
