Softball Recap: Bellflower Takes a Loss

Bellflower saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came up short against the Whittier Cardinals, falling 7-1.

Bellflower saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Valery Wilches, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Bellflower's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Whittier, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bellflower will face off against Dominguez at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Whittier, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on California at 3:15 p.m. on April 1.
