Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Meridian). They blew past the Farwell Eagles 70-20 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Mustangs with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory got Meridian back to even at 7-7. As for Farwell, they dropped their record down to 0-16 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meridian will face off against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meridian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Farwell, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Farwell Eagles face off against the Ogemaw Heights Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
