Basketball Recap: Nazareth Comes Up Short

Nazareth lost a heartbreaker to Archbishop Molloy when they met two weeks ago, and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Kingsmen were dealt a 75-43 loss at the hands of the Stanners. The game marked the Kingsmen's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Nazareth's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Archbishop Molloy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.

Nazareth and Archbishop Molloy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New York Rankings. The Kingsmen will square off against Holy Cross at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with a big rank advantage (63 vs. 257). Meanwhile, Archbishop Molloy (ranked 19th) will meet Monsignor Scanlan (ranked 126th) at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday.
