Addison Trail got themselves on the board against Proviso East on Tuesday, but Proviso East never followed suit. They blew past the Pirates 6-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blazers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Not much got past Santino Dill, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Proviso East off the board.

At the plate, Louie Franczak was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. He also brought in two RBI, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jonathon Valdez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

The win made it two in a row for Addison Trail and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Proviso East, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Addison Trail will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Pirates: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
