While Scappoose's victory against Tillamook wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Cheesemakers 4-3 on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Indians, who have now won eight contests in a row.

Scappoose pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tillamook, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Scappoose will head out to take on Astoria at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Tillamook, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Cottage Grove at 4:30 p.m. The Cheesemakers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
