Soccer Game Preview: Millbrook vs. Corinth Holders

The Millbrook Wildcats will take on the Corinth Holders Pirates at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Millbrook's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Millbrook's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Wakefield 1-0.

Meanwhile, Corinth Holders' game on Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Enloe. That's two games in a row now that Corinth Holders have lost by exactly two goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Corinth Holders and nudges their season record down to 10-6. As for Millbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4-3.

Everything went Millbrook's way against Corinth Holders in their previous meeting back in September of 2019, as Millbrook made off with a 4-1 win. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Pirates have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
