Stratford is a perfect 10-0 against Northbrook since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Stratford Spartans will venture away from home to take on the Northbrook Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Friday, Stratford was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 59-58 to Cypress Creek. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 387th, while the Cougars are ranked 162nd).

Meanwhile, Northbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a hard 66-47 fall against Jersey Village. The Raiders were down 54-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

This is the second loss in a row for Stratford and nudges their season record down to 14-17. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only two points. As for Northbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.

Everything came up roses for Stratford against Northbrook in their previous meeting back in January, as the squad secured an 83-23 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stratford since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
