Baseball Game Preview: Nixon Mustangs vs. Juarez-Lincoln Huskies

For the second straight game, Nixon will face off against Juarez-Lincoln. The Mustangs will take on the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Nixon's offense. They fell just short of Juarez-Lincoln by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since March 7th.

Amando Lozano spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.

Juarez-Lincoln's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-19. As for Nixon, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
