The Cheyenne Wells Tigers will take on the South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Cheyenne Wells is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Greeley County just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 44-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackrabbits.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett]'s good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost to Stanton County on the road by a 48-34 margin.

Despite the defeat, South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Sarah Elmore posted 17 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Elmore a new career-high. Callie Hinds also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Cheyenne Wells' loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett], their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
