Volleyball Game Preview: Christ the King Gladiators vs. Chicago Christian Knights

The Christ the King Gladiators will head out on the road to face off against the Chicago Christian Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, Christ the King came up short against Walther Christian Academy and fell 2-0. The Gladiators have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Chicago Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Timothy Christian.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Timothy Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-17.

Chicago Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Christ the King, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
