Softball Recap: Immanuel Christian Takes a Loss

After soaring to 14 runs the game before, Immanuel Christian was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to the Bakersfield Christian Eagles.

Immanuel Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Barham, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Immanuel Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Bakersfield Christian, their victory was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Immanuel Christian will host Legacy Christian Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bakersfield Christian, they will challenge Frontier at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Bakersfield Christian 3.6, Frontier 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
