Chamblee is a perfect 3-0 against Lakeside since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bulldogs will take on the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. Chamblee has given up an average of 34.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Chamblee will face Lakeside after dropping another heartbreaker against Shiloh on Friday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within three of beating them. The matchup between the Bulldogs and the Generals didn't end well, with the Bulldogs falling 40-22. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Generals: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Lakeside on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Tri-Cities out of the water with a 41-0 final score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Vikings had established a 34-point advantage.

Lakeside's win came from a few key players Chamblee will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Noah Lanford, who threw for 302 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per attempt. Lakeside is 2-1 when Lanford posts three or more passing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. The Vikings' leading receiver Canon Davis was Lanford's top target yet again, picking up 130 receiving yards and one TD, while also punching in one score on the ground.

The win got Lakeside back to even at 3-3. As for Chamblee, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Chamblee came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakeside in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 23-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
