Volleyball Recap: Hastings Takes a Loss

Hastings was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Blair Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Hastings was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22.

Hastings' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Blair, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 9-5.

Looking ahead, Hastings will take on Gretna East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blair, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Bennington on the 20th.
