Derek Moore Game Report: vs Southeast Lauderdale

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Derek Moore: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made five total tackles (1.0 for loss), but sadly Newton still had to take a 8-0 loss at the hands of Southeast Lauderdale. We hope Moore's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Moore and Newton are taking a road trip to face off against Leake County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
