Volleyball Recap: Parrish Community Takes a Loss

Parrish Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the McKeel Academy Wildcats.

McKeel Academy found their leader in sophomore Kenza Benchikh, who had five aces and four digs.

Parrish Community's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for McKeel Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.

Parrish Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Lake Gibson on the 12th. As for McKeel Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wharton on the 12th.
