Philip Barbour won the last time they faced Elkins and things went their way on Thursday too. The Colts came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colts.

Philip Barbour easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-21.

Izzy Knotts paced Philip Barbour's offense, picking up ten kills. Knotts got some help from Finley Carpenter and her 14 assists. Carpenter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aubrey Currence, who had ten digs.

Philip Barbour's victory bumped their record up to 31-7-2. As for Elkins, they now have a losing record of 13-14-1.

Philip Barbour will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against John Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th. As for Elkins, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Preston on the 9th.
