Susquenita put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Greenwood Wildcats get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 18-0 two weeks ago.

Ayahna Fleisher made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Susquenita got a massive performance out of Braelyn Prinz, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits Prinz has posted since back in March. Addison Fritz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Susquenita was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .343 or higher in eight consecutive games.

Susquenita pushed their record up to 16-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Greenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Susquenita will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
