Portsmouth Christian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Farmington Tigers with a sharp 10-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-4 last Wednesday.

Grady Howe was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs.

In other batting news, Landon Hasty was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Cai Summers was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Portsmouth Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April.

Portsmouth Christian Academy's record is now 9-2. As for Farmington, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
