Soccer Game Preview: Royal vs. Harmony School of Innovation

The Royal Falcons will face off against the Harmony School of Innovation Mustangs at 6:05 p.m. on Tuesday. Royal will be looking to extend their current 13-game winning streak.

While Royal's win against Bellville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Royal narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Bellville 3-2. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 164th, while the Brahmas are ranked 711th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jared Peres and Eskary Rosas scored all three of Royal's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 31 goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harmony School of Innovation). They put the hurt on Hempstead with a sharp 6-1 win on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Royal's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 54 goals over those seven contests. As for Harmony School of Innovation, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5-1.

Royal skirted past Harmony School of Innovation 3-2 in their previous matchup back in February. Will Royal repeat their success, or does Harmony School of Innovation have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
