Basketball Recap: Beamer Takes a Loss

Beamer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Enumclaw Hornets, falling 63-23. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 75-33 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Beamer lost, don't look at Jane Wanjiku. Despite the final result, she posted seven points. Wanjiku has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played.

Beamer's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Enumclaw, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Beamer won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kent-Meridian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Enumclaw, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against White River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. White River knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Enumclaw likes a good challenge.
