Basketball Recap: Cortland's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Cortland had won five straight games and Jaxson Gambitta did his part to make it six on Saturday. The Cortland Purple Tigers snuck past the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Red Devils with a 52-46 victory thanks in part to Gambitta, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 15 points and seven steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.
