Basketball Recap: Healdton Comes Up Short

Healdton lost against Empire back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Healdton Bulldogs had to suffer through a 71-35 loss at the hands of the Empire Bulldogs. Healdton just can't catch a break and has now endured four losses in a row.

Healdton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Empire, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

Healdton will head out to face off against Ringling at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Healdton is facing Ringling at the right time seeing as Ringling is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. Empire has already played their next game (against Elmore City-Pernell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
