Soccer Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling lost against KIPP Denver Collegiate back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the White Tigers, falling 9-0. One thing that sure didn't help Sterling was the trouble they got from the refs, as Aadan Meraz and Alex Rodriguez were both handed red cards.

Sterling has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for KIPP Denver Collegiate, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

Looking ahead, Sterling will head out on the road to face off against Weld Central at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for KIPP Denver Collegiate, they will take on Wellington at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
