La Plata skates past McLean with ease

Recap: La Plata Warriors vs. McLean
The La Plata Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 82-53 victory over McLean. That looming 82-53 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for La Plata yet this season.
McKinley Harrold continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Jones, who scored eight points along with nine assists and three steals.
La Plata now has a winning record of 4-3. As for McLean, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
La Plata will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Suitland on January 3, 2024. Suitland is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for McLean, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Spencerville Adventist Academy at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Spencerville Adventist Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 last Tuesday.
