Basketball Recap: Harrisburg Christian vs. Harrisburg Academy Spartans
Harrisburg Christian came into Friday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past Harrisburg Academy 56-28 at home on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Harrisburg Christian also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Eli Stargel continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Cooper Gesswein was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Harrisburg Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Harrisburg Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Harrisburg Christian will be playing at home against the at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Harrisburg Academy is on the road again on Friday and plays the at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th.
