Volleyball Recap: Advance Victorious

The Advance Hornets earned a 2-0 victory over the Kennett Indians on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Olivia Kennedy paced Advance's offense, picking up eight kills. Kennedy got some help from Mallory Mayberry and her 14 assists. Cashlynn Sturgeon and Emma Eilers kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Advance's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Kennett, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Advance wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Saxony Lutheran on the 13th. As for Kennett, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Leopold on the 13th.
