Volleyball Recap: Marshall Extends Winning Streak to Three

Marshall entered their tilt with Wilson on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mules. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Barristers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Marshall was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 17-25, 25-16.

Marshall's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6. As for Wilson, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marshall is set to face off against their familiar foe Lincoln at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Wilson will challenge rival Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
